This is an agreement for the sale of a (color), (sex), BURMESE (breed) kitten born __________.
This kitten shall be individually registered as a pet only. The conditions of this sale are as follows:
1. The BUYER accepts the responsibility of caring for this kitten and providing for its welfare.
2. The BUYER agrees to follow the breeder’s instructions on care, housing, diet, treatment, and health.
3. The BUYER agrees that this kitten will always receive prompt medical care, and, will never be allowed to suffer from parasites or neglect.
4. The BUYER agrees to provide companionship for this kitten, never leaving it alone for long periods of time without human attention.
5. The BUYER agrees to provide a generous amount of exercise for this kitten, to provide it with toys, and not to cage it for unnecessary amounts of time.
6. The BUYER agrees never to allow this kitten outdoors unless leashed and accompanied by a responsible person to supervise its freedom for its health and safety.
7. The BUYER agrees that this kitten will never be sold, leased, or given to a pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or other similar facility. In the event that the kitten or cat is no longer able to live in the home and suitable home that will agree to the terms of this contract is not found, the BUYER shall contact the Seller and return the kitten/cat to the Seller.
8. The BUYER acknowledges that the kitten has been altered at the time of purchase.
9. The BUYER agrees to provide a scratching post for kittens and to work with the kitten to use scratcher and to not de-claw this kitten. Understands that de-clawing is a mutilation and cruel that could alter the kitten’s temperament and health. Declawing the kitten will void the health guarantee.
10. The Breeder guarantees that the Breeder’s Cattery is Fel.V negative, that this kitten is presently free of disease. This kitten will be accepted for a full refund of the purchase price if return agreement is made within thirty (30) days. The Breeder warrants that this kitten is genetically sound; and, will replace this kitten with another at no additional cost if the kitten dies of a genetic defect within three (3) years. Vaccination for FIP and/or FeLV will void the health guarantee. Claim for replacement shall be evidenced by an autopsy report presented by a licensed veterinarian.
